First Post

Inspired by my friend David who is about to embark on a solo sailing voyage, I thought that a blog would be just the way to keep those interested up to date with my whereabouts and activities. I note at the outset that some degree of reservation will be inevitable due to the public nature of this enterprise, though I do hope to be able to recount some of the more interesting developments as I journey through this wonderful thing called life.
